Enjoy different styles of food in your comfort

Hong Kong is known as a food paradise due to its various cuisines available throughout the city. More than that, each district has its signature cuisine. The hipster desserts in Sham Shui Po, seafood in Sai Kung, roasted pigeon and chicken porridge in Sha Tin, various styles of local street food in Kwai Chung Plaza, skewers from Japanese Izakayas skewers and Indonesian dishes in Causeway Bay, western delicacies in Central and Sheung Wan, innovated dishes at the renovated industrial buildings in Kowloon Bay and Kwun Tong.

Bar culture in Quarry Bay and Taikoo, Michelin-starred restaurants in Wanchai and Admiralty, and the Thai food in Kowloon City are all impressive and unforgettable. Well, who doesn’t want to enjoy all these delicacies at once? Unless you are good at cooking and also have a broad knowledge of different cuisines, I believe that only the catering service can fulfill your all of desires at once. Unless you are good at cooking and also have a broad knowledge of different cuisines, I believe that only the catering service can fulfill your all of desires at once.

Speaking of the area that has changed the most, Sham Shui Po must be ranked first. Many hipster shops have been opened by young people in this area during the last couple of years. Apart from selling special boutiques, some hipsters Cafés are sure to be crowded every weekend. People can easily spend an afternoon hanging out at the cafe. Food and coffee at some of these cafes might not be of the highest quality, but I guess the vibe and atmosphere won the customers' hearts the most.

Hong Kong is the second-highest seafood consumption city in Asia and the eighth-highest in the world. A lot of people like to go to Lei Yue Mun or Sai Kung for fresh/live seafood, the perception of “fresh” seafoods are being offered there since these two districts are located by the shore. Actually, most of Hong Kong’s deep-sea seafoods are imported from the Asia-Pacific region and other parts of the world. Most live seafoods displayed outside the seafood restaurant are actually farm-raised. Therefore, whether the seafood is “fresh” or not depends on the source of the seafood, not exactly where you purchase or consume it.

Kwai Chung Plaza is wildly known for its huge local street food selections. The venue was once deserted due to the epidemic, small shops started to enter the plaza and bring the crowd back into KC Plaza laterly. The most attractive point of this place is the food selections as well as some of the innovative fusion items. However, be prepared for the time waiting in line during the peak hours.

The combination of sweet, sour, bitter, and spicy is the essence of the inseparability of Thai cuisine. As many people know that the Thai have formed a small community in Kowloon City, and numerous Thai restaurants and grocery stores are scattered around the area. Even though Thai restaurants are everywhere in HK, when people think of Thai cuisine, Kowloon City usually still be the first place that comes across their minds. However, just like all other cuisines, don't assume all Thai food cooked by a Thai Chef must be authentic. I had a bad dining experience at a Thai restaurant in Kowloon City before, leave alone the unreasonable price, and more importantly, the ingredients are not fresh at all. So I guess having a satisfying meal at a restaurant can base on your luck sometimes.
